Maritime Trends Conference
1. Conference Organization
The anonymous company named “MARINE TOURS SA”, (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer”) based in Athens, 7-15 Pandrosou str., and 8 Mnisikleous str. organizes a maritime conference of an educational nature, free of charge for its participants, named “Maritime Trends Conference” (hereinafter referred to as the “Conference”).
2. Conference Period – Participation eligibility
Participants will be eligible to participate at the event, by accepting the Terms and Conditions, and should their participation be confirmed by the organizing committee on the basis of availability and order registration, as well as professional relevance. The shipping conference will take place on Saturday 13.05.2022 at the “Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso” Hotel.
3. Special Participation Terms for the Participants’ Personal Data Protection
The implementation of the Conference requires and presupposes the creation and general processing of the participants’ personal data file, including the following information: name, surname, company name, position, telephone number, e-mail address. This information is collected by the Company, being the Data Editor, as directly provided by the Participant during the completion of the registration form available on Marine Tours’ website. This information will be entered into the Company’s database to be processed for the purposes of organizing, conducting, and implementing the Conference [collection of participations, contacting participants via email or by phone about important information and notifications related to the Conference, administrative aspects, legal purposes, statistical and marketing analysis, customer surveys and customer relations communications(Processing/ Editing Purposes].
The Company may, on a case-by-case basis, disclose the above data, for the fulfillment / implementation of all or part of the Processing/ Editing to its third-party affiliates, subject to the express reservation that they will be provided only for Processing/ Editing Purposes and that they are strictly bound to terms of protection of your personal data, which may be transferred for Processing/ Editing Purposes.
The Company will retain the intended personal data, in hard copy and/ or electronic form, for up to twelve (12) months after the end of the Conference, subject to further processing for the purposes described in the Communication Consent Declaration, on which the participants agree.
The Company has complied with all the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect the participants’ personal data, processed for the conference’s purposes, in accordance with the principles of proportionality, limitation of purpose and time of processing and data minimization, exclusively for the above processing purposes and only for its duration and then securely deleting / destroying the aforementioned data.
Every participant may, at any time, exercise the rights as depicted in Regulation (EU) 2016/679, including the right to information and access, correction, deletion (right to be forgotten), restriction of processing, portability of objection (objection to processing), as well as the right to seek human intervention. These rights are exercised by sending a request to the Company’s address or by email to the Data Protection Officer (email@example.com).
If a participant exercises any of its rights, the Company will take all possible measures to satisfy its claim within one month of its receipt, if possible.Last but not least, each participant always reserves the right to apply to the Personal Data Protection Authority, which may accept the submission of relevant complaints, either in writing in its protocol/ headquarters (Kifissias 1-3, PC 115 23, Athens), or online, via its website (www.dpa.gr).
4.Photo and Video Release Waiver for Participation in the Conference
By registering for theConference, participants are aware that photos and videos will be taken at the event. The Company has the right to edit, use and publish the related videos and images within the scope of Press Releases for editorial purposes or diffused on the Company’s Website, corporate Social Media Accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), and/or Newsletter for the purpose of marketing and promotional activities.
DECLARATION OF COMMUNICATION CONSENT
As a Conference Participant, in accordance with the above Terms & Conditions of Participation, I became aware of and accepted them, having fully understood the Processing/ Editing Purposes of this Statement, and after having been fully informed of the identity of my Data Editor, and the exercise of my rights there under, I hereby expressly and freely consent to the Company to process my personal data, which it has been collected and processed in the context of conducting the Conference and for additional purposes of informing, communicating and promoting its services, including as an invitation to me for possible collaboration, inclusion in a list of the Company’s newsletters recipients, for the purpose of promoting its services and for commercial reasons, disclosure to me of future offers or collaboration proposals and other similar purposes for the promotion, communication and advertising of its services, as well as promotional updates and news of third party.
As a Conference Participant, in accordance with the above Terms & Conditions of Participation, I hereby expressly and freely consent to the Company to edit, use and publish videos and imagestaken at the event for editorial, marketing and promotional purposes, etc on the Company’s Website, corporate Social Media Accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), Newsletter and/or Press Releases.
I retain the right, at any time and with ease, to freely and unconditionally withdraw my consent, or to request the processing purpose’s restriction or the restriction of my personal data recipients, moreover to exercise the rights to access and information, deletion, correction and updating, restricting processing, objection to processing and portability, by sending a request to the Company at Pandrosou 7-15 and 8 Mnisikleous Str. to the email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the event that the Company does not comply with any of my requests within the law, or in general, violates its obligations under this Regulation, I am entitled to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.
