Once again this year, Marine Tours proudly supported the annual Induction Ceremony & Dinner of the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame, which took place on Monday 22 April at Megaron, The Athens Concert Hall. We were honored by the presence of our esteemed partners at this exceptional event.
Prominent figures from the Greek shipping community and their international partners attended the ceremony, where significant personalities were highlighted. The two new inductees honored for their vision and contributions to the Ιndustry in the Pantheon of Greek Shipping are the shipowners Dimitris Manios and Michael J. Pnevmatikos.
This prestigious event is held with the purpose of honoring outstanding individuals who have significantly shaped the Greek shipping industry through their entrepreneurial journeys, leaving a lasting impact and legacy for the new leaders of the Sector.
Beyond celebrating Greek shipping’s leadership, history, and culture, the 2024 Greek Shipping Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Dinner also marked the bicentenary of the death of Lord Byron in April 1824, focusing on the famous poet’s commitment to Greece’s freedom and his love of the sea.
