Joining “bee for planet” for a Greener Tomorrow

Marine Tours is actively contributing to the effort to support beekeeping in the Evros region, standing by the side of local producers who have suffered losses from the recent summer fires. In response to the call from the non-governmental organization “bee for planet,” we are providing the local beekeepers with 1,200 kilograms of bee feed, which is essential for their survival this winter.

About the Initiative
This initiative has multiple benefits for the environment and society, including supporting biodiversity in Evros and helping local families continue their important beekeeping work.

Impact

  • We are providing 1,200 kilograms of bee feed.
  • We are saving 120 bee colonies.
  • We are preserving 2,400,000 bees.
  • We will enable the pollination of 10,260,000,000 (billion) flowers next spring.
  • We are helping beekeeping families stay in the region and continue their work.
  • We are actively supporting biodiversity in Evros.
  • We are contributing to halting and reversing the decline of wild pollinators, which are crucial for maintaining biodiversity.

Given that the value of a healthy bee colony is 100 times its value to society, we are grateful to be able to play our part in creating a better, more sustainable future for everyone.
