Yet for another year, Marine Tours was honored to actively support the ESG Shipping Awards INTERNATIONAL 2025 – The Conference, the leading platform that brings together global maritime leaders shaping the future of sustainable shipping, which concluded on November 19th, 2025, at Zappeion Megaron, Athens.
With industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders in attendance, the conference highlighted critical issues shaping maritime sustainability, from fuel decarbonization and ethical governance to digital transformation and workforce resilience.
During Session 4: “People & Purpose – Building a Resilient Maritime Workforce”, moderated by Mr. Konstantinos Oikonomou, CEO of Marine Tours, distinguished panelists addressed essential topics including seafarer wellbeing, people-first fleet operations, crew development, gender representation, workforce shortages, and embedding inclusion and safety across ship and ashore.
